TRA Welcomes Richard W. Satre, MD.
Dr. Satre joins the Emergency Radiology section of TRA
TRA Medical Imaging, one of the largest sub-specialized radiology practices in Washington, welcomes Richard W. Satre, MD, to its emergency radiology section. Dr. Satre brings extensive clinical experience and expertise to TRA.
“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Richard Satre to TRA,” said Michael Dowd, MD., President of TRA Medical Imaging. “He comes to us from a radiology practice where he most recently served as President and Chief Medical Officer for that group. Dr. Satre has exceptional clinical skills and we welcome him to our Emergency Radiology section,” he said.
“I am excited to join a group that is committed to delivering excellent service to the patients, referring clinicians, and hospitals we serve,” said Dr. Richard Satre. “During my orientation with the hospital systems that TRA serve, it was quite apparent that the hospitals appreciate the efforts of TRA to provide excellent service. My wife and I are also delighted to be living in the community. My move to TRA just feels right,” he said.
TRA Medical Imaging provides sub-specialized radiology services, including 24 hour emergency radiology services throughout south Puget Sound serving eight area hospitals in the MultiCare and Franciscan health systems, 11 TRA operated outpatient imaging centers and numerous medical offices.
Dr. Satre graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, and completed residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina where he was named Chief Resident. Dr. Satre completed fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore MD.
